my story.
My name is Daniel Sidoruk,
and I have been dedicated to the art of music creation for over a decade.
Throughout this time, I have had the honored privilege of collaborating with talented individuals and teams throughout sydney and contributing to projects that have exceeded my initial expectations. These experiences have profoundly shaped my personal and professional growth. However, the path to this point was not without its challenges, and it took a significant amount of time and reflection to reach the place I stand today. Ultimately, it was a shift in perspective that set everything in motion.
My primary objective has always been to find a community that values authenticity and transparency—free from restrictive contracts or actions that don’t suit the vision for an artist. For years, I searched for a network within the music industry that embodied these principles, but I often found myself working alone, back in my studio, creating in my own solitude. It was during these moments that I realized I had the power to build the very idea I had been searching for.
I set out to create a space based on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect—where artists are not bound by contracts that undermine their creative workflow. This initiative is not about locking individuals into obligations or expecting anything in return, It is about providing support for independent artists who are ready to take the next step in their journey, allowing them to fully pursue their vision without compromise. With my experience and passion for music creation, I am in a unique position to help these artists achieve their goals and establish their voices in the industry.
what is remnant waves?
remnant waves ‘record label’ is a collective of sydney-based artists from australia, who have an uncontrollable urge to share their story through their music. pushing the boundaries of what was capable from independent artists in sydney, remnant waves was created by independent sydney artists, for independent sydney artists.
why was remnant waves created?
It all began with an idea, an idea that stopped asking ‘what if’. all artists starting off in sydney find the rocky roads, and they can find it disencouraging and disgenuine. with the music industry filled with negativity and false hope, remnant waves was created as a gateway through the brick walls of pain. providing independent artists with neccesary tools, equipment and industry professionals to help push their dream of being an artist forwards, to being a reality.
who founded remnant waves?
remnant waves was founded by ‘daniel sidoruk’, an independent artist from western sydney. with over a decade of industry experience, sidoruk has been known for collaborating for successful albums, ghost-writing for industry professionals, composing soundtracks for film & working closely with independent artists such as himself.
